Who we are
WorkArc (NZBN 9429053534842) is based in Auckland, New Zealand, and works with businesses in New Zealand and Australia. This statement covers the information we collect through this website. We handle it under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and, for people in Australia, the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply to us.
What we collect
When you book a call, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the type of work your business does, and anything you choose to tell us in the message box.
The website uses cookies, including analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics), to see which pages are visited and how people find us, so we can improve the site. This information is about how the site is used, not who you are. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.
If you take the diagnostic, your answers are collected by that tool on diagnostics.workarc.io and used to prepare your results.
Why we collect it
We use your details to get back to you, arrange the call and prepare for it. We don’t sell your information or pass it to anyone to market to you. You don’t have to give us anything, but we can’t book a call without a way to reach you.
Where it goes
The booking form is delivered to us by email through Web3Forms, and we keep your details in our CRM so we can follow up. Some of these services store information outside New Zealand, including in Australia and the United States. We use providers that protect it to a standard comparable to New Zealand law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we’re in contact and for a reasonable time afterwards, then delete them. If you’d like your details removed sooner, tell us and we will.
Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email josh@workarc.io and we’ll respond within 20 working days. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled it, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner in New Zealand or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
If you become a client
Information in your business systems that we work with during an engagement is covered by our Standard Terms, including the data protection and security clause.
